November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Here is a starter kit to NaNoWriMo 2016.
PD Day Programs run Friday afternoons from 2-4pm on days when there is no school for children in grades 1-6. Each PD Day Program is a different theme with crafts, games, snacks, activities and of course lots of FUN! Join us to create new structures using all kinds of FUN materials! Moving beyond blocks and Lego we will use all sorts of different building materials. Each month will be different materials and challenges! Build It is held the first Tuesday of the month from 4-5pm and open to children in grades 1-6. No pre-registration is required! Storytime is an hour filled with stories, rhymes, songs, crafts and fun for 3-5 year olds. The program helps build early literacy, listening and group participation skills required for successful school entry. A different theme each week provides an introduction to a variety of picture books. Children attend the program “on their own” and begin taking the important first steps of independence.
